Important🧵with flooding & safety tips for Wayne County residents affected by the flooding.

Tips below:👇🏾 1/
1️⃣ If you have flooding/flood damage, make an inventory (even if you’re discarding) and take photos (cell phone photos are okay). Most cities/townships should have damage assessment public claim forms available for residents to use & complete. Document, document, document! 2/
2️⃣ Air circulation is key to help dry areas & keep mold & mildew at bay. Open windows while it’s currently not raining. Use fans/blowers to help circulate the air. 3/

It is telling when lawmakers are more interested in the stick instead of the carrot & aim to inflict punitive measures on people.

We have to ask realistically ask ourselves “how many of those who are ‘in the labor force’ are in FT (with solid benefits) vs PT work (w/little to no benefits)?”
We have to realistically ask “How many in the labor force are among the underemployed or working multiple jobs to survive?”

At 1:34 pm ET a year ago, the senate recessed “call of the chair.” We went about our business grabbing lunch, checking emails, touching base w/staff working remotely, reading legislation, & viewing the “Unlock Michigan” rally on the Capitol lawn. 🧵
