UPDATE: A few hours after this article was published the Florida Department of Education responded to popular.info's inquiry and provided 4 examples of "problematic elements" from rejected textbooks
On March 16, Popular Information documented how non-profit groups funded by Charles Koch's non-profit, @StandTogether, were advocating against economic sanctions on Russia
I obtained 8 of the rejected books and published a report this morning. I found no evidence of CRT, "race essentialism," or any other "dangerous and divisive" concepts
1. This will be a thread of my favorite phrases in Jared Kushner's pitch deck for his new private equity firm.
He's used this stuff to raise $2.5 billion!
2. "We approach opportunities creatively based on the concept that aligned economic interests can solve intractable problems and create previously unrealized value."
3. "All over the world, accelerating innovation breakthroughs are causing massive changes to the way we live. Our understanding of the nexus of industry and country trends provides differentiated insights."
1. An analyst that receives extensive financial & other support from Charles Koch (@standtogether) is questioning whether Russia is targeting civilians in Ukraine, despite overwhelming evidence
His arguments mirror the Russian Ministry of Defense
@StandTogether 2. The Koch-funded analyst, John Mearsheimer, also suggested if the Russian military is targeting civilians, the United States is to blame
Mearsheimer's arguments provide cover for Russian atrocities in Bucha and other areas of Ukraine
