Imam Ali (a) called his son Hazrat Abbas (a) and reminded him to be always ready to defend Imam Hussain (a). He kissed his daughters Zainab and Kulsoom (s) on their arms. He knew that they would be bound with ropes in Karbala. (3/5)
It is narrated that tabeeb (doctors) were called and they suggested milk as remedy for Imam Ali's (a) fatal wound. When this news spread in kufa hundreds of children gathered around Imam Ali's (a) house, carrying the bowls of milk in their hands. (4/5)
They told his son Imam Hasan (a),"O Imam, on behalf of your mother Fatima (s), please take from us and give this milk to your father."
