A commenter just told me in MA, they want to add a "B" to DEI, for "belonging." Then it hit me...DEI is not only a paradox, it's a coded warning. Let me explain...1/
"Diversity" - If you've been paying attention, you know this doesn't mean "different viewpoints," it's purely cosmetic, and/or means "Non-normative." People who "represent" minority "groups" or whose score on the "intersectionality" matrix is HIGH.2/
Diversity's implicit warning? "If you could be classified as a "normie," especially in your worldview (your racial/ethnic/etc... identity only counts in your favor if you adhere to the ideological framework, it is the highest value), you are DEVIANT.3/
"Equity" - What was just another word once for "how much ownership you have in your property," or "equality," now means "equal outcomes," though you'll often see it defined as "equality + fairness," as if that makes any sense at all. 4/
Equity's implicit warning? "If you're deemed to have too much of whatever someone else less DEVIANT wants, you're unfairly 'privileged,' and deserve to lose it/have it taken from you by force." Or, more succinctly, someone other than you is ENTITLED to what's yours. 5/
"Inclusion" - If you didn't get the message when they labeled you "DEVIANT," and their preferred people "ENTITLED," you'll realize pretty quickly when they implement their method of "inclusion." Affinity groupings for everyone BUT you. 6/
Inclusion's implicit warning? "Accept these designations, and the obligations, we have placed upon you as a result of them, or you will be INVALID, in every sense of the word./7
So, you DEVIANT people who fail to understand we are ENTITLED to have our demands met, we declare you, and everything about you INVALID. But just to make sure there's no misunderstanding, we'd like to add a "B" to our handy little code...8/
"Belonging" - Belonging is how they want people to feel who share their worldview, adhere to their rules, and submit to their will. If affinity groupings took care of sorting, "Belonging" deals with those left-over, who can't, or won't, fit themselves into an approved "group."9/
Belonging's implicit warning? "We're in charge now; you could have remained safe had you submitted to our demands, and accepted your proper role in the New Normal that is our Utopia, but since you haven't, and won't, we have no other choice but to punish you with BANISHMENT."/END
I have a theory about how sex-ed, and trans-tech got SO off the rails/has been so effective at supporting the trans-ideological agenda, lemme know what you think: 1/
Maybe parents who grew up with cable TV, which gave them easy-access to R and MA movies, and such, PLUS loosening of censorship standards in the entire industry vis a vis se subconsciously assumed their kids would learn about these topics organically, and... 2/
...with the same happening with violence in these media, they were gradually "taught" a false dichotomy (that more graphic depictions of sex is "not half as bad as" violence, thus further desensitizing them to the sex stuff, and...3/
Addendum to this thread: one word keeps bouncing around in my head, that we don't talk about often enough, and that is "boundaries." Too many people today don't have them, and it shows.1/
Live-and-let live means live and let people LEAVE. People without boundaries can't take no for an answer, and they refuse to tolerate rejection, even when it's quiet, even silent. They want what and who they want, when they want them, and when someone boundaried says"No," 2/
They do this. This is why we use this image as a visual metaphor for the Woke, because this perfectly captures who they are. "Someone somewhere isn't doing what I want them to do, or being who I want them to be, or giving me what I want from them!!! I shall make them PAY!"/3
One of the dumbest things I hear all the time is "Why do you care what other people do with their lives?" As if I'm upset that someone "over there" is doing something I just don't agree with or approve of, randomly. 1/
In point of fact, I don't care what other people do with THEIR lives. If they want to dress like a cat, live like a cat, eat mice and crap in a box privately, go for it. If they want to rant lies in their living room to the four walls, or their best friend, have at it. 2/
But when the furry, or the liar, or anyone in between, steps out in public and demands people listen to them, or accommodate them, and people just trying to mind their own business are getting bombarded with life-altering policies and expectations to placate their entitlement 2/
To be clear, this is Doxing, I've never done it, nor would I ever do it, or support anyone who did.
NOT doxing: posting publicly available information obtained legally, or used with the permission of the private individual who gave it to you.
SO, examples of doxing: 1/
1. Sharing someone's private email address or phone number with a large group of people, and telling them to write/text/call that person unsolicited (we call this SPAM) to demand they help you with something you're working on.
Yes, that's "doxing" with intent to HARASS. /end
USED with permission, not obtained with permission. Just b/c someone gave you information once upon a time does not entitle you to permanent use of it, nor use of it to harass, defame, bully, or incite others to do so. This extends to copyrighted material as well as private info.
There are multiple reasons schools are embracing the "suck" (my new word for the vacuum they will create in the skulls of every child held captive by them). It's important to understand these reasons aren't shared by all the adults involved, but definitely by many 1/
1. True belief in the goal of being-Marxist "liberation" revolution using kids as foot soldiers. This is much more common than most realize. Where it's not common, it's denied, despite being in the curriculum, and teacher training. 2/
2. Money. Opportunities to grift off guilt using schools have never been more lucrative or plentiful. Im longing for the good old days of skepticism about textbook companies! Consultants, data mining companies, big tech software companies, are making BANK pushing "equity."3/
