Update: The website FullFact says that the Labour leaflet is based on unreliable assumptions and fails to include benefits changes.

The IFS said the Tory ad was disingenuous as in fact 8/10 households wd be better off under the Labour 1992 shadow budget (only the top 5% were hit hard). Yet the ad worked.
