Listening to the lawyer in MTG trial describe Americans fighting the British during Revolutionary war as the bad guys is f*cking amazing.
Apparently denouncing a tyrannical government is now a crime. Remember when it was cool to call Trump a tyrant on an hourly basis and threaten to remove him?
This lawyer attempting to criminalize any reference to 1776 should deeply offend every American
The idea that her referencing 1776 before January 6 is proof of her plan to violently overthrow the government is beyond bananas.

Status hearing now for Proud Boys: Ethan Nordean, Joe Biggs, Enrique Tarrio, Dominic Pezzola, Zacahry Rehl.

All are incarcerated--Kelly just vacated May 18 trial date. Now discussing August trial date:

Tarrio and Pezzola just added to case. His attorney, Steven Metcalf, said he doesn't think he can be ready for trial until fall. DOJ admitted a few weeks ago they haven't made all discovery in the case available to defendants.

DOJ also threatened to add defendants, charges.
Kelly sets August 8 trial date.

Joe Biggs' attorney discussing his client's imprisonment. Like all other detainees, Biggs cannot access evidence against him.

USCP should be disbanded. Congress should not have its own police force.

•USCP exonerated Lt Michael Byrd after he executed Ashli Babbitt. He still has a job

•USCP seeded the lie Ofc Sicknick was killed by Trump supporters, a lie it perpetuates to this day…
•USCP insists the 14,000 hours of surveillance video should be kept from the public. DOJ doing just that

•USCP demanded—and received—$2 billion in new funding from Congress.

•USCP expanded its intelligence operation and was caught spying on GOP members, staff, donors…
•USCP announced plans to expand operations in other states under the ruse of “protecting lawmakers.”

•USCP official testified under oath the force used non lethal munitions for the 1st time in its history on January 6.

•USCP official testified they let people in on Jan 6

This is where Rosanne Boyland died. Gonell and Officer Harry Dunn handled her body that afternoon. As he goes on the 15th month of his pity campaign, he refuses to answer what he did with her.

When GOP forms its own J6 committee, they need to demand answers from both.
He remains on paid leave and spends his time attacking Republicans and lying.
Gonell testified he gave her CPR at 4:26pm—video refutes that claim. Dunn said he met Gonell near Hoyer’s office until paramedics arrived.

She was pronounced dead at 6:09 pm

DC Magistrate Judge Michael Harvey yesterday denied DOJs request to detain the 2 men accused of impersonating federal agents with possible ties to Iran and Pakistan.

BUT...

Harvey, like every other judge in DC, has signed off on at least a few pretrial detention orders for J6 protesters.

Here is his explanation for detaining Kyle Fitzsimon, who's been in jail since Feb 2021, now in DC Gulag awaiting a June 2022 trial, convicted of no crime: ImageImage
Harvey also denied release of Robert Morss, an Army ranger with 3 tours in Afghanistan. (Morss and Fitzsimons were near the lower west terrace tunnel where cops were assaulting protesters)

I will try not to swear with abandon as I explain what happened in DC District Court today.

Ethan Nordean has been in jail for 14 months. He is not charged with any violent crime related to Jan 6--he didn't assault anyone or carry a weapon. His only "crime" is being a Proud Boy
Judge Timothy Kelly--A TRUMP APPOINTEE--has denied release for Nordean and other Proud Boys also not charged with crimes of violence.

So here is my NON-LAWYER guess on what's happening related to Trump criminal charges for J6.

Looks like the committee will punt on a criminal referral.

Pressure is on Garland but my guess is he felt burned by the school board memo, which I don't think he knew much about and...
was likely orchestrated by Lisa Monaco. After Senate GOP blasted him and Cotton said he should resign in disgrace, not sure Garland wants to do more of Monaco's dirty work.

That said, the bag man here will be Matthew Graves, the US Attorney for DC handling all J6 prosecutions.
Graves will build from the Oath Keepers and/or Proud Boys obstruction and conspiracy cases.

He'll use alleged collaboration btw Rhodes and Tarrio before/on January 6 to "attack" the Capitol and provide security to folks like Roger Stone as evidence of Trump's culpability.
