🤚Drivers let's talk about Bad Control Arm Bushing.

It's true that we like our cars and that's why we service them so as to get optimum performance from them.

However, most of us forget about an important part of the suspension system...

The Control Arm Bushing.

— Thread —
Before we dive into our topic which is "Bad Control Arm Bushing", please let's start with the Suspension System of your vehicle.

The suspension system of any vehicle consists of tires, wheels, shock absorbers, springs, joints, bearing, and bushings.
🤚These all contribute toward allowing the frame and cabin of the vehicle to move on the ground.

The way in which the suspension system is attached to the frame of the vehicle is by components called "Control Arms".
There is usually an upper control arm and lower control arm.

The way that the control arm can stay attached to the frame is with a part called bushing.
Bushings are used for control arms, stabilizer bars, ball joints, tie rods, shock absorbers, strut mounts, and other suspension and steering parts.
💡 However, bushings were not made to last forever, as they become worn out and damaged by the way you drive your vehicle.

The following are 3 things that can damage your control arm bushing.
1. Accidents and Mechanical blunders.

The control arm bushing is a very delicate part of the suspension system, hence it is easier for it to be damaged when your car is involved in an accident.

Your mechanic must know, that it requires handling with care when it's replaced.
2. Engaging high speeds while being off-roading.

Unless you are in a rally, it's not logical to drive in high speeds when you're off-road. This will increases the wear and tear of your suspension system, specifically on the part of the control arm bushing.
3. Wear and tear.

It's undeniable fact that every vehicle part needs replacements. For instance, a ball joint would need to be replaced after 120,000 KMs.

Failure to do so will eventually affect other parts such as the control arm bushing.
⚠️ So, how would you know that the arm control bushing would need to be serviced?

Well...A Bad Control Arm Bushing will show you the following problems:
1. Clunking Noise.

Clicking, popping, or snapping sound when the wheel is turned. You might even hear a squeaking sound at the end of a stop, when the gas pedal is used, or when turning the steering wheel.

These noises are the signs of a bad control arm bushing.
2. Steering wanders or becomes harder to control.

When you have a bad control arm bushing it can significantly shift the vehicle's steering alignment, which may cause the steering to pull to the side. This will require constant correction to steer the vehicle straight.
3. Vibrations.

Worn bushings or ball joints can cause wheel shimmy, which may cause vibrations that are felt in the steering wheel.

These vibrations will intensify mostly when you're accelerating. This will happen because there's damage to the control arm bushing of your car.
4. Un-even Tire Wear.

When there seems to be a problem with a wheel, raise that end with a jack and get under the vehicle.

Observe the edges of the tire. If it is wearing out unevenly, either from the inside or the outside...The central tread may also show a scuffed pattern.
5. Uncomfortable driving experience.

The control arm bushings help to dampen the road vibrations so that you can drive comfortably.

If the control arm bushings are worn out, you may hear rattling noises while driving, especially when you turn your car around.
🤚 A quick recap.

1. Accidents and Mechanic blunders
2. Engaging high speeds while being off-roading.
3. Wear and tear.

💡 These factors may damage your car's control arm bushing and you will need to let a genuine mechanic service your car and replace those control arm bushing.

Are you ready?

— Thread —

Image

🤚Let's talk about Shock Absorbers.

This is the most important part of your car's Suspension System.

Today I would like to give you a secret that will enable you to take good care of the shock absorbers and suspension system of your car.

Are you ready?

— Thread —
A shock absorber is a mechanical or hydraulic device designed to absorb and damp shock impulses.

This is achieved by converting the kinetic energy (movement) of the shock into thermal energy, which is then dissipated into the atmosphere through the mechanism of heat exchange.
The key role of the shock absorber is to ensure that the vehicle’s tires remain in contact with the road surface at all times

Shock absorbers automatically adjust to road conditions because the faster the suspension moves, the more resistance they provide.

🚨 Ijue 𝐒𝐮𝐳𝐮𝐤𝐢 𝐉𝐢𝐦𝐧𝐲

Mnamo mwaka 1960 Suzuki walikua wanafanya utafiti wa kutengeneza gari aina ya Kei Car [City Car].

🔝 Mpaka mwaka 2020 Suzuki walifanikiwa kuuza units 3,000,000 za Suzuki Jimny.

Ladies and Gentlemen, are you ready?

— Thread —
Uzalishaji wa gari hii ulianza mnamo mwaka 1970. Ambapo Suzuki waliinunua Hope Motor Company iliyokua karibu kufilisika.

💡As Warren Buffet says "Buying is a profound pleasure" Oh Yes, ununuzi huu uliipa Suzuki mafanikio makubwa Japan na Duniani.

Lets go...
Mpaka sasa Jimny ina vizazi (generations) 4 ambazo ni:

• 1st generation [LJ10-SJ20; 1970-1980]
• 2nd generation [SJ30/SJ40/JA/JB; 1981-1997]
• 3rd generation [JB23/JB33/JB43/JB53; 1998-2017]
• 4th generation [JB64W/JB74W; 2018- Present]

Sasa, let's see generations hizi...
