Late last night, my legislative email account and at least 99 others (many of which are Republican members), received this email from a self-proclaimed Republican committee person from Hazleton, Pennsylvania. 1/ 
This message is the most vile, racist, sexist, anti-Semitic, bigoted, homophonic email I have ever received. But what is even more alarming is I have yet to see a single elected member of the @PAGOP reply and/or denounce this message. 2/
That is because this sort of abhorrent messaging is now a part of their platform. This is what “Make America Great Again” meant & to see the complacency from the @PAGOP makes me sick to my stomach. What happened to being the shining city on the hill? The silence is deafening. 3/
To be clear, this definition of America is NOT accurate. America is beautiful *because of* our diversity, inclusion, empathy, and progress. Our differences should always be celebrated, not denounced. We must not move backward. 4/
