Generally speaking, it's better to get ahead of a scandal, but that is not how it works on #Bravo #RHONJ or other reality shows. What is amplified on the show is what is "out there everywhere." Marge amplified it on the show. We know that's different than on the blogs.
Remember how Kyle was so angry at Lisa for mentioning rumors about Mario and that was one short quip in a conversation with only her. She vented about that for months. People hated Lisa for that for years.
There has not been one group conversation on #RHONJ that was not Marge maliciously gossiping about Jennifer or Teresa. Melissa pretending she is not joining in Jacki & Marge's anti-Teresa vendetta fools no one, not Tre, not Joe, not anyone.
Jacki getting therapy would have been a public service if it did not feel dishonest, a ploy to stay on the show. It's not technically a manufactured storyline, but it felt like she ate that ice cream cone and coleslaw for the camera and then starved to make up for it. I hope not
I hope she is really doing the therapy for herself and not for the show because anorexia kills and she is making food an issue for her kids. They see her struggle and may come to emulate her when they feel a need to control their world.
Anyway, I would love to see the back of Margaret. I think she is witty and funny, but she is consistently malicious, year in and year out. She reminds me of the old gossip from my hometown, the one people would avoid at all costs.
People used to say, "if you want to get the news out about something, tell Juanita, but just know someone is going to be cheating on someone else."
