@nytdavidbrooks 6) Deficits don't matter--especially not to RWng status quo defenders like U. GOP wastes tons of $ on tax cuts for the super wealthy. The military budget is extraordinarily bloated. Somehow you never mention those. U only mention the budget when Dems want to spend $ to help ppl.

@nytdavidbrooks 7) New Deal cd happen again if we can combat RWng propaganda in both RW & MSMedia. We don't "live in an age in which culture, values & ID issues drive politics..." but in an age where GOP fear/hate/grievance mongering, lying & demonizing of Dems on those themes drives politics.
