I found this BulBul Tarang in a thrift shop, or rather the owner got this of the shelve for me cause I would walk right past this ugly looking box. My intern laughed at me cause I bought this but after restringing it it got a place in a lot of my tracks on the soundtrack

This one took some time for me to make. In the end I’m glad @lucasvantol kept nudging me that I needed this. This eventually became a sound my Tenakth tracks revolved around: grittiness and gnarly string overtones (based on the instruments made by @yurilandman)

My carefully curated box of magical devices. Created a boatload of rhythmical tidbits for my tracks on this modular synth

1) The largest wind chimes I heard. They were lovely!

And finally the mother box iteration nr. 2 - box with Double Bass C string…. Combining squeaks and blubber all in one neat 2 meter package 😍

If there’s one thing I take with me from working on a part of this huge score it’s that exploring sounds, looking for the borders of possibilities of an instrument and not being afraid to build something yourself really pushes your creativity to another level. #takerisks ❤️
