so as many people noticed kate used a lot of bridgerton blue, and purples during the season and edwina used lots of pink, during these eps i found it interesting that even tho they kept that color palette here they also added more to the mix
in the beginning of ep 3 edwina is using a peach dress and later in the almost same shade in the pall mall but this one is more closer to white (in a way i kinda interpret it like the way edwina was ready for the proposal)
however in the courtship scene and the failed proposal she is back to the pink tones (bare in mind this was after the pall mall, that for me edwina realized maybe she won't fit but the one on one they had calmed her in a way)
during the ep we have kate with the blue tones and violets, i think it's worth to mention that whenever kate has that little jacket(im so sorry i have no idea what is the name of it) it's when she acts more serious elder sibling and whenever she doesn't she's more playful herself
however in this ep the only time he didn't use neither of those colors was in the failed proposal scene,u can discuss with me that is a more pale lavender but it's the closer we got of her using white (after the queen's diamond ball in ep1)
next in ep 4 edwina is back to the pink pale tones, again closer to white
and of course we have kate back with the blues
until the hearts and flowers, which of course the excuse is that it was the dress code most likely that we got kate in pink but still, lowkey the moment they are dancing before they start talking i believe that kate allowed herself to imagine being a debutante too
and then finally the reason of this thread in the end of the ep edwina's dress has this dress with faded pink which bc of edwina's mindset probably is a way like okay back to be a debutante no longer a bride until well, notice how kate is using the little jacket

🧵thread kate's hairstyle evolution throughout the season 🧵 #Bridgerton
okay so, I think everybody noticed that kate's hairstyle went through some changes while the season progressed, so here it is a compilation with a little analysis of all of them
okay so episode 1
1st we have her riding braid: which it's basically kate being herself but with her duty still present with a less severe hairstyle with some strings framing her face but her hair is still contained in the braid
🧵Mirrors in #Bridgerton season 2 🧵
this is an analysis on all the scenes with mirrors on the show. This is an interpretation, which it's full of subjectivity, meaning u can agree or not with this, this is just my pov on how i interpret these scenes
mirrors can have multiple meanings when they are present in different media, in bridgerton, i believe, it is used to reflect the truth, the soul and the self-reflection of the characters.
in this thread i have decided to focus on kate and anthony, and a little bit on edwina.
bc i focused on kate and anthony, there's also another meaning added with the mirrors, it's basically their twin flame energy.
