Let's talk #HaloInfinite Season 2!
For the Interference Event, Last Spartan Standing challenges should now be tracking more accurately and helping you earn rewards. There may be a delay if you leave early, but all progress should count once the match finishes in the background.
To help make things right, we'll be granting 5 XP Boosts & 5 Challenge Swaps to anyone who logs in while Interference is live. Next week, we'll also be reducing the difficulty of some Event Challenges and making it so that completing them earns you 2 levels on the Event Pass.
We've seen the feedback around changes that impacted various multiplayer jumps and campaign speedrun strategies. We're not at the point where we can promise anything yet, but want to be transparent and say that we're taking the feedback seriously and reviewing options internally.
Last, but certainly not least, thank you for providing input and reporting any issues you find to @HaloSupport (aka.ms/HaloSupport). Your constructive feedback truly helps make Halo Infinite a better game.

Let's talk about Halo Infinite playlists!
We've been reading your feedback, and we're working on plans to add Fiesta, Tactical Slayer (SWAT), and Free-For-All playlists as we speak. They won't land by Dec 8, but the team is pushing to get them in before the end of year 👊
Our goal for Events is to try new modes prior to adding to playlists. We'll monitor playlist health after the 3 additions above and adjust our offering if needed, but we're excited to make these updates before the holidays. This is just the start of the conversation with y'all 👍
A Social Slayer playlist (with multiple variations) is also in the works (we see this request the most), but we won't be able to get that one ready until after the holidays. We hope you can understand and enjoy the ones that make it in before the team takes a well-deserved break!
When we made our initial change to progression, which added Daily "Play 1 Game" Challenges, updated Weekly Challenges, and doubled the duration of 2XP Boosts, we promised that we'd monitor the data and make additional changes if needed. Now, it's time to follow up on that.
After seeing how XP was earned with those changes, we noticed that players were starting their sessions with slower payouts than we'd like. To address this, we will be increasing the XP payout for the first 6 matches of each day. An outline of this update can be found below:
1st Game = 300XP
2nd Game = 200XP
3rd Game = 200XP
4th Game = 100XP
5th Game = 100XP
6th Game = 100XP
7th+ Game = 50XP
We believe this increase will help address those slower initial payouts while also benefiting those of you jumping on each and every day.
To address the feedback on Battle Pass progression we will be making targeted tunings to our model later this week.
To start, we'll be adding "Play 1 Game" challenges to help make sure you consistently progress through the Battle Pass by playing matches the way you want.
We'll also be adjusting, fixing bugs with, and removing some Weekly Challenges based on your feedback. These tunings to challenge difficulty will help you progress through Weekly Challenges faster and thus directly speed up your progress through the Battle Pass.
When we make this update, we'll need to reset your Challenges, including your progress towards Weekly ones. To make up for this reset, we'll be granting this week's Ultimate Reward, the Sigil Mark VII Visor, to everyone who logs in from Nov 23 - Nov 30.
Registering for a chance to participate in #HaloInfinite multiplayer technical previews is pretty easy. That said, if you want to make sure your account is as prepared as possible, please follow this thread 👊
