A quick update from me~ 👋🏼

I now have 3 concurrent Project Zettelkastens.

Each being specifically geared towards different goals.

The craziest benefit of these firewalled ZK's is that they still link bi-directionally through the #index notes.

So separated, but still connected—thinking, off-loaded~

Now, none of this probably even matters to most folks, but it's being able to confidently rely on a note-taking system that's been bullet-proof—that matters to me.

I show up each day to the Harry Ransom Center's archives and I don't have to wonder or question if I'll remember.

It's by leaning into an idiosyncratic system that starts as simple as possible that's allowed for the complexity of hundreds of notes to accumulate without falter.

Start simple, shit'll get complex on its own.

I continue to see people struggle with getting the hang of a system that works for them, and I'm probably in the best position to help.

But I'm NOT here, we're NOT here, to ever settle for less than what we're made to take on in life, right?!

So I continue to have these revelations, after revelations, of just how fucking amazing this feeling is—and I do want to share with others, I really do.

But I'm a greedy fucker, and I don't want 100's of folks to get it... I want millions of people to understand.

And the best way, IMO to ever get that many people to understand anything... is by doing the difficult work first.

So that's where I'm at.

I'm so grateful for the folks that have been so goddamn supportive of this process, and have been patient with my crazy personality.

I'm only in the research phase of this journey, but my spine is firm and my sights are high.

I've limited myself to 1-day-a-week on this bird.app, but I miss you all, and learning from each one of ya~
