Earlier this week on #PressFreedomDay2022, @mbachelet, the @UN's High Commissioner for Human Rights, condemned the use of Israeli NSOGroup's spyware #Pegasus against journalists worldwide as "an affront to privacy and press freedom."
Last year, @FbdnStories denounced the use of Israeli spyware Pegasus against more than 180 journalists in 20 countries around the world. #BanCyberSurveillance
Pegasus was created by the Israeli company @NSOgroup. The Israeli government, which sponsors, licenses, regulates, and supports NSO, considers the company’s weapons-grade spyware “a crucial component of its foreign policy and national security.”
We join the High Commissioner in calling on governments to “immediately cease their own use of surveillance technologies in ways that violate human rights.” Ban Israeli and other cyber-surveillance weapons.
Former Honduran President, Juan Hernández, “poster boy” of Israeli diplomacy, is charged with sponsoring a “corrupt & violent drug-trafficking conspiracy.”
🧵Let's explore the deadly links between Hernández’s regime and apartheid Israel.
Apartheid Israel propped up Hernández's ruthless regime with weapons, military training & access to the Trump White House. In return, Honduras voted against Palestinian rights at the @UN & agreed to move its embassy to occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli-armed Honduran forces were implicated in the “torture, rape, … kidnappings & killings of journalists, students, opposition activists, … activists on behalf of farmers’ rights, homeless rights, & indigenous communities’ rights.”
JNF is directly involved in apartheid Israel’s ethnic cleansing of Indigenous Bedouin-Palestinians, destroying livelihoods under the guise of 'planting trees'.
Palestinians in Al-Naqab peacefully resist Israel’s forced displacement & dispossession.
We commemorate 34 years since the beginning of the 1st Intifada when Palestinians rose up in unity against Israel's brutal occupation.
A collective and inclusive movement spread from Gaza across historic Palestine calling for boycotts & strikes against Israel's colonial regime.
From 1987 - 1993 Palestinians rose up in their masses to end apartheid Israel's illegal occupation. They insisted on the right of return for Palestinian refugees, ethnically cleansed during the Nakba, and the right to build a free and democratic society.
The 1st Intifada was met with brutally violent Israeli repression. PM Rabin instructed his army to “break the bones” of Palestinian youth. More than 1,300 Palestinians were murdered, 120,000+ were injured, and some 600,000 were imprisoned by Israel's apartheid forces.
As a new variant of Covid-19 threatens us all, Israel plans to demolish the only Palestinian vaccine & PCR testing centre in illegally occupied E. Jerusalem.
Throughout the pandemic, Israel has deliberately targeted our healthcare systems, entrenching its #MedicalApartheid.

With a vaccine rollout underway, Israel refused to provide vaccines for 4.5M Palestinians living under its military occupation. Instead, Israel gave vaccines to countries that pledged to move diplomatic missions to occupied Jerusalem. nyti.ms/3rVXXxV
Why is Israel supporting the ruthless military coup in Sudan? 👇🏾
The coup is mutually beneficial to both apartheid Israel & the Sudanese military dictatorship, who hope Israel will lobby the US on their behalf, legitimizing their control in Sudan.
Apartheid Israel favours a military take over of Sudan rather than a return to the democratically elected government for a clear reason.
A military coup bypasses parliamentary decisions, paving the way for broadly unpopular normalisation with the apartheid state.
Israel wants to override the will of the Sudanese people who stand firmly with Palestinians and reject normalisation with the apartheid state. Even as democracy crumbled in Sudan, protesters could be heard chanting solidarity slogans with Palestinians.
