Just got back from the hospital, after being attacked by five occupation soldiers. Head injuries, kicks to my stomach, my body dragged on rocks. As you can see in the video, they did it because I filmed them, after they came to demolish a structure my neighbor built. 1/2
Here, in Masafer Yatta, they evict us all through systematic demolitions. But a few days ago, the occupation court ruled the army can now carry out a mass eviction of our entire community, ethnicaly cleansing thousands at once. I fear the horrors that will come. #savemasaferyatta
When I was 3, soldiers evicted all families in the villages next to me. 700 people, from 14 villages, in the Southern West Bank. They became refugees. It happened in 99'. This eviction was a trauamtic event that to a large extent accompanied my life growing up. >>
The Israeli occupation army, to justify the eviction, claimed our villages of Massafer Yatta are in a "firing zone" they declared in the eighties. Our families have been living here for decades. The firing zone was a lie, a brutal tool to evict us. >>
When I was four, the evicted refugees appealed to the Israeli courts that rule us. They allowed them to return home, temporarily, until a verdict is decided. Now the critical moment is here. >>
Breaking: now IOF in Mufqarah village confiscating solidarity tent that was set up in the village after the pogrom that the settlers did in the community 3 weeks ago. #Palestine
Now: The Israeli IOF is destroying the water pipes of four villages in Massafer Yatta. These pipes deliver water to hundreds of Palestinians villagers, and for their crops and animals.
This is brutal. They are now blocking the roads of Massafer Yatta with huge piles of land.
1/2 This is the fifth time the IOF
Demolished and cut the water pipe in #MassaferYatta. This is how the occupation and apartheid looks like.
Massafer Yatta community’s existing sines hundreds of years and can’t have water, roads and homes.
