Yesterday me and some friends went to the Supreme Court to counter-protest a pro-abortion "Mother's Day" demonstration.

Thread 🧵
Moments after we arrived and started chanting, this person approached my friend Kristin (purple hair) and began getting very aggressive in her face.

Because I was worried they were about to get violent, I placed myself between them.
They did not like that!

The police immediately stepped in to intervene and separated them from the pro-lifers. They went back to their people for a moment and then... they came back with a full bottle of a vegan protein shake (lol) and dumped it all over me.

The police officers also definitely got hit (again, I must lol).
Despite this, our team continued on for a few hours — singing and chanting to both be a voice for the unborn but also the represent the MILLIONS of pro-life Americans who have been hoping, working, praying, and voting for 50 years to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Attacks on pro-life demonstrators have been increasing since the leak of the draft Dobbs opinion.

I have seen first hand my fellow pro-lifers shoved, punched, pushed/pulled to the ground, had our signs stolen out of our hands and used as weapons against us, and more.
Just within the past week we've seen multiple sexual assaults with pro-abortion demonstrators intentionally groping the breasts and genitals of (in particular, our female and gender nonconforming) pro-life activists, including even minors in Indiana.
While we have been greatly saddened (and some of us, actually traumatized or re-traumatized as a result of past experiences) by these pro-abortion attacks — we are not really surprised.
Of course some of the people who are fighting for the "right" to commit violence against innocent children would be willing to commit violence against those who disagree with them.
Despite all of this, we are going to continue to boldly defend our unborn brothers and sisters at this crucial moment in history.
We know that the pro-abortion lobby is actively attempting to manufacture the appearance of enough public pressure to intimidate the justices into changing their mind.

They're threatening them online, at rallies, and now even outside their homes.
We cannot allow these extremist radicals to control the narrative.

The reality is that most Americans support reasonable restrictions on abortion that Roe prevents legislators from passing.

Pro-lifers must be out in our communities defending our life-affirming values.
While pro-life activists may face attacks, we must remember that we are not the true victims here.

The unborn children who are routinely killed and their parents who are exploited by the abortion industrial complex are the victims.
The annoyance of getting a chocolate protein shake thrown in my face is nothing compared to the violence that an unborn child experiences when a physician takes a pair of forceps and rips off their limbs and crushes their skull.
The inconvenience of trying to get the chocolate stain out of my shirt is nothing compared to the lifelong emotional anguish that many of the women I know who have chosen abortion (almost always a result of coercion and/or financial pressure) face every day.
I am not the victim. I am just a person with a voice who will not stop fighting for justice until I no longer can.

To pro-lifers: I urge you not to be discouraged. We are going to win this.

Get involved and get connected with other people in your community to fight for life.
Personally, I believe in human rights for all human beings so I work with @RehumanizeIntl to organize against violence in all forms including abortion, euthanasia, war, capital punishment, police brutality, and more.

If you agree: I welcome you to come join our movement!

Also, if you can: donate today so that we can continue to do this work and afford to replace the signs, megaphones, and other materials that have been destroyed and stolen by pro-abortion activists.

My latest:

.@PittTweet has been conducting horrific medical and scientific research on the victims of 18-24 week old elective abortions that were committed by physicians in the @UPMC system.

Here is a photo from @PittTweet's 2020 humanized mice study in which researchers scalped unborn babies to attempt to grow human skin on mice and rats.

This study was taxpayer funded, receiving a $235,000 grant from @NIH. Image
To be clear, this is not an issue of embryonic stem cell research, wherein apologists might attempt to claim that these fetuses are simply “clumps of cells.”

At these ages, unborn children have beating hearts and rapidly developing brains. They can respond to external stimuli.
