I find it strange how many people beat around the bush regarding race in our country. I grew up in a blue state in a county that generally votes blue.
It was beyond normal to know kids who had “racist parents” and weren’t shy about it.
It was BEYOND normal and almost expected that white kids would just have “racist grandparents” that weren’t worth changing the minds of. My grandparents are in their 70s. They’re not very old.
I know a ton of kids who are huge racists. Would make racially charged comments and use slurs when only white people were around.
Pretending that there isn’t a racism issue here would be completely unfounded in every situation I’ve ever been in, which is many at this point
Trump is actively trying to cut the United States’ Department of Education’s budget by $5.6 billion dollars. LeBron James himself has pledged $42 million dollars to provide scholarships to eleven hundred underserved students.
