The idea that is unhinged to respond to insanity or that it is the response that spreads the insanity is an extremely stupid idea. It is what has crippled an able President and turned him into a senile cartoon with an approval level in the 30’s.

2/The EXTREME MAGA movement is poised to take power in the US HOUSE and is on the march across the country. @potus has led a Global Coalition in support of UKRAINE with every bit as much skill as GHWB 41 did in the 1990’s.

3/ @potus is facing the most sophisticated, coordinated, venomous, dishonest, divisive and insane propaganda machine in American history,
bar none. It is ruthless, coordinated and determined to take power. It is strategic and purposeful. It is immensely dangerous and yes, EVIL

4/ I completely and utterly reject the notion that responding and fighting back against a mob of thugs, conspiracy theorists, fascists, crooks, weirdos and scumbags is UNHINGED. It is not. What is unhinged and delusional is not fighting back. Look where it has gotten @potus

5/ if he doesn’t reject this almost immediately, then the notion that he will be the Dem Nominee in 24 on the basis of Incumbency is as equally delusional as Trumps claims that he can drink water with one hand.

6/The philosophy of ceding the public square to a toxic miasma of insanity to avoid spreading the malice isn’t just singularly stupid it is historically so. That raises a question. what is comparably stupid?

7/ For this we have to go back to the 1930’s when Nazi Germany was quickly rearming in violation of all manner of disarmament treaties in the 1920’s. What happened? Did the US, England and France start rearming?

8/ They did not because there was a CW that reciprocally arming would be inherently provocative to the Nazi’s. In fact, the stupidity went deeper. The Politicians made the argument that disarming faster than required would show the Nazis they didn’t need to rearm at all

9/ The world was on fire by 1939. This stupid idea, that Trump and extreme MAGA only exist if there name is said out loud is delusional. @potus won the Presidency by 45000 votes across three states. If this deliberate philosophy of ignoring and not confronting the nuts is not

10/ abandoned in favor of summoning the “Exhausted Majority” to common cause about big and important things we will lose the United States to an extreme cabal of MAGA fascists (completely historic and accurate use)

11/ That would be a tragedy beyond fixing and would consign our children to a small and much darker world. They will be joyful though. Their parents weren’t unhinged. That is what they will be told. They will be told it is crazy to speak out and insane to fight back. No thanks
