I ask because Bari Weiss is making a to-do about Joseph Manson resigning from UCLA. Maybe he is telling the truth, but the hyperbolic language he uses makes me question whether he might be a wee bit biased.
He says a fellow professor cannot be racist because he's a liberal Democrat. Has he met liberal Democrats?

But yeah, they guy is doing research that whether he intends it or not will contribute to over-policing. If you use police data on crimes committed, people arrested, etc

People really need to be focusing on electing more Democrats in state and local races because thanks to the illegitimate Supreme Court, that is where the battles will be. Where Democrats control state government, abortion is legal and some states, including mine, have pledged
to help women in states that do not allow abortion. Democrats have done a lot at the state level to prepare for Roe being overturned. Last year, Oregon set aside $15 million in grant money for women's travel and abortion expenses. In Oregon, insurance must cover abortion
and Medicaid covers abortion. There are actually seven states who kick in money to supplement Medicaid so that it covers abortion. I know lots of turnips are proposing instant fixes that are irresponsible because they promote cynicism and the false belief that Dems don't care

But it's worse than that. This has been a known medical fact for more than a generation. And then, even worse than that, they invented an oximeter that got it right for Black people in the 70s, but they don't use it.

So Black people should have repeated arterial blood gas measurements, more invasive, more painful, because the more accurate oximeters are not in use.

It looks like I might qualify for reduced cost Eliquis from @bmsnews because I am poor enough and have already spent more than their required out of pocket, but my doc has to fill out part of the application. That's fine, but the clinic charges $45 for filling out paperwork.
Don't blame my doctor, it's the clinic policy, not hers. It's just what part of poverty don't they understand? Every application that requires doctors doing anything, even the public transit program for the disabled, costs money, even for just a signature. $45 is less than $357
so of course, I am going to have the doc fill it out, but it just irritates me.

I used to like her. But then she did that blood test and claimed other's work as her own, but I didn't outright despise her. Her relentless demagoguery on school loans though has pushed me over the edge. I have come to despise her.
She increases people's dissatisfaction with Biden, Harris, and other Democrats by lying to her followers, claiming all their debts could go away with a stroke of a pen. They cannot. She is lying. She is a demagogue.

If she believed it could happen she would do something herself
She knows it cannot pass the House and Senate or she would be introducing a bill along with someone in the House introducing a companion bill. She would be looking for co-sponsors, asking for a hearing. Instead she tweets

There are reasons truly disgusting politicians stay in office despite being as informed as a rock and just as clever. I'm talking Louis Gohmert, Margorie Taylor Greene, and the like. They live in such gerrymandered safe districts that they don't have to pretend to be competent
This is GA 14s voting history. Now redistricting will change the composition of the district some but not enough for GA-14 to hold their turnip accountable. She can only be defeated in the primary.
I advocate not donating to revenge candidates running against these disgusting 💩because no matter how good they are and how hard they work, they cannot overcome the structural advantage of gerrymandering and/or racial distribution of voters.
