Why did Amber Heard call the media in 2016 instead of the police if she feared Johnny Depp, and how did her bruise disappear overnight? Let’s break it down #justiceforJohnnyDepp
Upon filing for divorce, Amber Heard’s attorney made financial demands on Johnny Depp and accused him of abuse. The 24 May 2016 letter says Amber wants to handle this quietly, so she has “not yet” asked for a restraining order. ImageImage
Two days later, at 9:45 am, Amber Heard’s attorney noticed an emergency hearing for the next day (27 May 2016) at 10:00 am. This is the ONLY information shared with Johnny Depp's team about the hearing that would occur in 23 hours: Image
Johnny Depp was in Spain on 27 May 2016, leaving him no chance to prepare for the hearing. He was not an intercontinental threat to Amber Heard, but she claimed a need for immediate protection. Image
The date Amber Heard picked for her hearing was three days after Johnny Depp’s mother died, it was his daughter’s birthday, and the premiere of his movie: Alice Through the Looking Glass. Image
The restraining order application by Amber Heard makes no mention of the nightmarish “bottle” incident. She mentions only 3 incidents in April and May 2016 and alludes to other abuse that occurred in their relationship. Read it here: walzermelcher.sharefile.com/d-s6068d6bdaab…
Amber and her attorney appeared in court on 27 May 2016. But there was no requirement for Amber to be there. These applications are typically heard on the papers in chambers, without the judge speaking with counsel or the applicant. Image
The media was there in force. The court did not know about the hearing until Amber Heard showed up. The only one who could have leaked was Amber or Johnny Depp’s side. No way JD would want this attention.
Calling the media to create a spectacle is inconsistent with someone needing protection. If Johnny Depp were dangerous as Amber Heard claimed, she would have called the police, not the media.
Amber Heard gets the restraining order and walks out the front door of the courthouse (not using the underground or side escape available to high-profile parties). Amber appears to have a large bruise on her right cheek, a scene widely shared in the media. Image
By miraculous healing powers, or the magical Arnica cream, Amber Heard’s bruise that was highly visible on 27 May 2016 vanished the next day. ImageImage
Amber Heard’s father texted Johnny Depp that Amber was scared she would have no place to live unless she got the restraining order. Johnny responded that he told Amber she could live in the penthouse “as long as she liked!!” deppdive.net/pdf/nw/witness… ImageImage
Amber Heard’s mother also texted Johnny Depp on 27 May 2016, claiming Amber’s lawyer instructed Amber that she “had to” seek the restraining order. That’s ridiculous: Lawyers give advice; Clients make decisions. Image
After public backlash, Amber dropped her request for $50,000 per month in alimony, the use of Johnny’s three penthouses, and a Range Rover. Image
Amber Heard misused the protections designed for victims of abuse to obtain a restraining order against Johnny Depp when he was in Spain and had no chance to defend himself. It was a further act of abuse by Amber against Johnny.

Amber Heard just acknowledged telling her nurse Erin Falati on 26 May 2016 that she was having a terrible week due to the “negative media attention” from the divorce. Was AH’s restraining order spectacle the next day her plan to change the narrative?
Amber Heard says she was “following advice of counsel” in listing the 3 most recent acts of abuse in seeking a restraining order (no mention of the bottle incident). But her divorce counsel objected to JD’s subpoena for this trial to verify.
The recordings played in court showed JD’s desire to avoid conflict, which made AH aggressively pursue him. This was consistent with Dr Curry’s evaluation that AH fears abandonment. AH didn’t need a restraining order from someone who was trying to avoid her.

Channel 4 alleges Russell Brand engaged in sexual misconduct in the workplace, which it says was well-known and sometimes enabled by producers. If true, this includes C4's own shows in 2004 to 2007. C4 now admits it does NOT have all the facts. Image
Channel 4 says "is appalled to learn of these deeply troubling allegations, including behaviour alleged to have taken place on programmes made for Channel 4 between 2004 and 2007. We are determined to understand the full nature of what went on."
As C4 admits, it does not fully understand what happened. So why air the program about Brand? I am not questioning the veracity of the accusers. I do not know what happened. I am pointing out the conflict of interest and the incomplete investigation.

The Michael Oher story is heartbreaking. In the court petition he filed today, he explains how he was told that he was signing adoption papers as an 18-year-old, but the family's attorney put him under a conservatorship. Image
Michael is suing his supposed adoptive parents, Sean Tuohy and Leigh Anne Tuohy. In July 2004, after Michael became an adult, the Tuohys presented him with what they called adoption papers after they had taken him into their home.
Instead, the papers were an agreed petition for the appointment of the Tuohys as his conservators. It was drafted by attorney Debra Branan, who they all called Aunt Debbie.

The perjury and perversion of justice case against Amber Heard advances, with the Australian government confirming today that it has received evidence statements from US-based witnesses.
Thanks to @Paris2804 for obtaining a letter from the Australian government on the status of the investofation. It was sent today and confirms the DOJ/FBI have cooperated in obtaining evidence and providing that information to Australian investigators.
The Australian government needed the help of US law enforcement because witnesses to the alleged crime reside in the US. This important step of gathering evidence from US-based witnesses has been accomplished.

Amber Heard sued in federal court for making an insurance claim for Johnny Depp’s defamation judgment, and for refusing to cooperate with the insurance company in defending the suit. Read it here.
Amber obtained insurance in 2018 from New York Marine and General Life Insurance Company with $1 million of coverage.
The policy covers damages caused by Amber that injure another, including defamation. No coverage is allowed for a willful act by Amber. More on that below.

The Depp-Heard verdict remains safe and sound, despite a leaked court filing making further allegations against a juror. Amber Heard’s claim that Juror 15 is an imposter is sus. See this thread.
The Deadline headline that the verdict is in “chaos” is sensational but untrue. The court has not addressed the fake juror allegation, and there is no legal merit to the claim.
The July 8 court filing was leaked to Deadline. The document does not appear on the court’s website, so how did Deadline get it? Probably from the same person who wants the public to believe the verdict is in chaos.

Amber Heard claims Juror 15 was an impostor, seeks new trial against Johnny Depp. courthousenews.com/amber-heards-a…
The list of prospective jurors says Juror 15’s birth year is 1945 but Heard points out J15 “was clearly born later than 1945. Publicly available information demonstrates that he appears to have been born in 1970.”
Heard’s lawyer concludes: “This discrepancy raises the question whether Juror 15 actually received a summons for jury duty and was properly vetted by the court to serve on the jury.” She claims Juror 15 may be an impostor.
