With white supremacist propaganda on rise, filling airwaves, & inciting terrorism, it's urgent that students study patterns in history, learn to think critically about messaging, see manipulation at work, ask who profits from racist divide, call out media/pol., & learn to resist.
But GOP is passing laws to ban teaching about white supremacy in history & today. So, racist propaganda can go unchecked. #LostCause

14th Amend., ratified in 1868, demanded equal protection of the laws & due process of law for all people. It authorized Congress to enforce these principles. 2/7

The "white press" or "corporate media" should also be named as such.
