#sd50 which @RachelMayNY will presumably be the incumbent in is wholly contained in @OnondagaCounty and has @Syracuse1848, Salina, Cicero, Clay, Lysander, Van Buren, Elbridge and is a D+21.78 district
#sd53 with @SenJohnMannion will presumably be the incumbent has the rest of @OnondagaCounty (Camillus Geddes, Marcellus, Onondaga, Spafford, Otisco, Fabius, Lafayette, Tully, Pompey, Dewitt, Manlius) and goes East through Madison County and up into Utica.
Big questions now come on the GOP side for these two districts. On first glance Julie Abbott Keenan (Skaneateles), Fanny Villareal (Onondaga), & John Salka (Brookfield Madison County) all live in new #SD53 and no announced candidates live in new #SD50.
New #SD53 is Dem 52.29% GOP 47.71% D+4.58
New #SD50 is Dem 60.89% GOP 39.11% D+21.78

@SRachelMay's use to represent #sd53 which was Biden +18.6 to new #SD50 which is Biden +23.8
This week I talk about the draft maps released by the Special Master Johnathan Cervas. These maps, if approved, will serve as the NY congressional maps for the August 23, 2022 primary and for the next ten years.
I am glad the court gave candidates an option to decide where they run, the new #ny22 draft is a good reason why. The district shifted dramatically west adding Oneida & losing Tompkins and Cortland and Cayuga. this will leave alot of questions about who is running where. 1/4
On the GOP side both declared candidates @Sigler4Congress (Tompkins) and Brandon Williams (Cayuga) are out of district. @claudiatenney lives in district but said she was moving to run in #ny23. 3/4
