The corruption of America's quest for racial tolerance into toxic politicized garbage like CRT is one of the greatest crimes of the modern era. We were making real progress before the Left turned "anti-racism" into "vicious racism against the people we hate."
People are sensitive to hypocrisy and insincerity, especially young people. They pick up on the deep corruption inherent in messages like "racism is bad except when we do it" and "celebrate diversity but also white people are evil." They know a cheap racket when they see one.
The deliberate infusion of Marxist class warfare poison into racial issues lies at the heart of this corruption. The Marxist is forever dividing family against family, sister against brother, to line his pockets and gain political power. He cultivates oppression and resentment.
The class war template was clumsily grafted onto racial issues by lefty mad scientists at the exact moment when Americans were making real progress toward a color-blind society. The Marxists couldn't have THAT. Where would all their power and money go?
For the past two decades, the Left has been frantically programming young people to feel like "racists" and "oppressors" who deserve punishment, or feel like oppressed victims, even when no one is saying, doing, or thinking anything wrong. They conjured division out of thin air.
The thing Lefty indoctrinators don't understand is their young prey sees the corruption and manipulation inherent in their foul teachings. They get the message that it's all a joke, a racket, a grift. They see barbarism masquerading as high-toned scholarship, and grow cynical.
That's one reason we see so much mob behavior these days, both on the streets and in online discussions. For years the kids have been learning the REAL lesson that everything is a crude political racket, might makes right, thuggery works, coercion is better than persuasion.
Generations have learned that the ugliest, most avaricious and dishonest behavior can easily be wrapped in lofty rhetoric and sold as "social justice." All that matters is having the political muscle to get what you want. Mobs and swarms offer power and protection.
That's one reason there isn't much outrage at BLM organizers grabbing fistfuls of cash and buying mansions. Of COURSE they are. Their cynical followers assumed that would happen. It's how rackets WORK. The grotesque spectacle of filthy rich Men of the People is commonplace.
Of course we tumbled off the long and winding road of true racial tolerance and descended into crude tribalism. Factionalism and division are rational responses in a landscape of crude rackets and political pillage. Racial solidarity is the easiest, most obvious organizing tool.
It's made all the worse by generations that have been taught they are irredeemably stained by the color of their skins, guilty even if they've never had a conscious racist thought, stained with "privilege" that can only be partly cleansed through Marxist control.
It might be hard for young people of today to believe, but within living memory, much of America held "color-blindness" as an ideal. We were trying to come together. It was slow, halting, awkward, and glorious. We were reaching for the glittering prize of a genuine ideal.
Look how far we've fallen. Talk of a color-blind society is now politically incorrect blasphemy. The mighty "I Have a Dream" speech would be shredded as a hate crime, the orator denounced as a right-wing extremist. Manufacturing racism is one of our most profitable industries.
We could return to the true path by remembering that tolerance is a pure ideal, and it only works if it's kept clean of political corruption. Tolerance doesn't have exceptions and sub-clauses. It cannot be achieved by using weaponized intolerance to get revenge for the past.
You are not showing tolerance and acceptance to people by ignoring their words and deeds to damn them for subconscious and systemic evil. You will never see the light of individuals if you spend all your time passing sentences of mass guilt. You must give tolerance to receive it.
Our society has been pumped full of so much Marxist political poison that we can barely comprehend what the true antonym of "racism" is. But once upon a time, not so long ago, we knew. We weren't quite there yet, but we knew where the road was leading us. /end
