Calling those ppl "luminaries" is a stretch and an insult to the imagination. "Leading demagogues", "high-profile grifters", or "white nationalist criminals" would be more accurate. I'm waiting to see how many decide to stay and not return to the U.S.

The Supreme Court has become openly hostile to democracy.

Nothing too weird about it, Republicans are potentially facing actual consequences for their actions leading up to Jan 6th. If they don't, they will go right back to that sh-t.

Fake Christians are mad at the chief Christian for sticking to Jesus's real doctrine in all things. The evangelical movement in America is fundamentally broken and dangerous at this point.

This is wild, but make no mistake, police abuse and dereliction is RAMPANT in Florida. In many cases it's being aided and abetted by corrupt prosecutors and judges. It's DEFINITELY bc of a culture being fostered by certain Sheriff's.

Republicans are fighting back against democracy with everything they have, because they believe their right to "rule" is sacrosanct and ordained by the heavens. Seriously, that's not even a tiny little bit of an exaggeration.

My first op-ed in @Florida_Today was in response to his "anonymous" op-ed in the NYT. The paper printed it in their 9/11/2018 special edition spread. I thought I hit the 🎯 pretty well. At the time, I had no idea there would be a coup attempt.

Republicans have given up even trying, I think. They used to be pretty "on point" with their messaging. These days it seems like they just watch Fox news and repeat whatever's being said on there instead of actually having a message.
