I am ideologically opposed to medical interventions in human bodies without medical needs. I apply the same yardstick to animals. I have accordingly not neutered my dog. He has developed his male persona which is what nature mandates. My vets have agreed with my decision.

When I got a dog, I found that in US it is a norm to neuter dogs, even as pups. It’s considered responsible dog parenting. If one doesn’t, he has to explain. Inversion of morality. I didn’t comply because dogs can’t consent to such invasion.

I don’t want to take away from a living being what he is born with and what I can’t return, unless there is a medical reason to do so. For example I would neuter a dog who develops prostrate problems, or testicular complications, but not before.

Begum has invited Suvendu to Nabanna for back to back meetings on deciding the heads of Lokayukt & state Human Rights Head.Under normal circumstances CM inviting LoP 4 such meetings is routine, but in this case she has striven hard 2 keep him off Nabanna post his exit & her loss

Then why this invitation? Answer: Begum’s compulsion. In the first meeting for these 2 appointments, Suvendu was invited at the Speaker’s office in LA & at a day’s notice. Only 15 minutes were allocated for both meetings.The goal was 2 make the attendance as insulting as possible

He asked for prior information on candidates they were considering for the appointment and asked for rescheduling after he is given those information. Begum finished the meetings with the Speaker in the LoP’s absence and sent off her recommendations to the Governor.

Suvendu’s presser on how Begum ensuring the collapse of the Cooperative Banking Sector. Must watch facebook.com/SuvenduWB/vide… He has been closely involved with the cooperative banks for a while. PS: Many mass politicians in WB have been involved with 1 social movement or the other.

Jist: Begum had promised massive loan to common people without securities in her election manifesto. After winning she demanded that Govt and private banks in WB sanction those loans. They refused.

The cooperative bank sector in WB is under her direct control. With the connivance of the cooperative secretary, Nageshwara Rao, she has ensured compliance from the cooperative sector. They are sanctioning massive amount of loans without security. None of these would be paid back

Unlike RSS, Begum knows some basics of good organization skills, organization anywhere,not limited to politics.Identify good lieutenants, let them run their regions without much interference. Kolkata and some of it surroundings,she didn’t need to fully empower any 1, rest she did

She had a simple rule 4 any1 2 continue, u have to send proceeds of cut money, swindling money at a certain rate. The rate can vary depending on how limited she thinks her direct control is on the region, that is, how much she needs the lieutenant.The rest is up to the lieutenant

By rest, I mean how much political violence you would perpetrate, how much you would rob the people of the region, beyond a certain point lieutenants would get some flexibility on these depending on their individual proclivities.

Begum had a simple rule. You can continue in power if you send her cut money at a certain rate. This of course means you would have to win polls. Kolkata & surrounding she ensures win, rest she relied on lieutenants to win. All swindlings under her are due to her.

Her lieutenants are obviously not ধোয়া তুলসীপাতা, washed tulsi leaves, but then no one in politics is. They had no choice but to obey her commands had they wanted to continue in politics. And politics is a high addiction drug.Once u are hooked,u are in it for life, unless forced

This is why I usually support the lieutenants who choose to leave her. Most of them know nuts and bolts of politics, some have strong mass connect skills. Elsewhere, ie outside paranoia party, they would be assets. Everyone who leaves her must be welcomed.
