3 days ago, around 11:30 am, I was verbally abused in the metro by these two perverts in the picture below. I don't know what provoked them. I informed the metro officials but nothing has happened till now. (1/n)
I boarded the metro at Vaishali and was talking to a friend about the #TajMahalControversy over call when the guy in the blue tshirt comes and stand real close to me. I politely asked him to step aside as he was making me feel uncomfortable. (2/n)
Unexpectedly, he started abusing me and called me "chutiya" and "atankwadi". I was totally taken aback, his behaviour triggered my anxiety condition. I managed to call him a jerk and asked him to back off. (3/n)
He went back to his friend in the red t-shirt( bhagwa tilak on the forehead) and mumbled something like " yeh r*ndiya to aisi he hoti hai". I immediately left my seat and deboared the metro at Rajiv Chowk.

This is the first time something like this has happened to me @OfficialDMRC@DCP_DelhiMetro please please do something and sack these assholes, if possible. (4/n)

I write this from a place of vulnerability and humiliation, the events that transpired today on our bodies are enough to disturb the cool temperament of those who have chosen to sit on the fences against the brutalities of this regime.
Activist from All India Students’ Association (AISA) had decided to take out a protest march in front of Amit Shah’s residence, our demands were simple, they were demands that have been made by those in this country who still have an iota of civil conscience left in their hearts.
We demanded the arrest of the murdered Ashish Mishra for killing farmers in the #LakhimpurKheriMassacre, and the sacking of his father Ajay Mishra who is the Minister of State for Home Affairs in the present Union cabinet.
