Another DRAMA by Environment Min Aaditya Thackeray & BMC to “clean Mithi”?

After 1500 crore of Mumbaikars hard earned money’s gone down the drain & into the pockets of contractors, over past 15 years, since July 2006 when Mithi wrecked havoc on Mumbai

now another new plan?

Even after all these “efforts” over 15 years, activists say water quality has not improved a bit in all these years and the Mithi still remains more of a drain than a river🤨

Environmentalists say

“All work seems to be in direction of making Mithi an effective drainage channel & nothing else

In last 15yrs,its become worse than it was in 2005

They have put concrete walls along river & concretised the plains; this will lead to death of the river”
