In my research of the people and organizations taking center stage at this year's #CPACHungary....I found the disturbing trend.

Unlike the firebrands of previous years, this year focuses on Christian nationalist legal experts with experience in using the courts

1/🧵
Center for Fundamental Rights calls LGBTQ equality "sick" and has worked with Orban's government to design laws that outlaw marriage, adoption and recognition of transgendered individuals. They've also worked on anti-abortion laws to "strengthen the family" and protect children.
Viktor Orban's Fidesz Party has promoted anti-Semitic crops, glorified historical figures responsible for killing Hungarian Jews during WW2, emboldened paramilitary groups. Loyal party leaders have called for the registration of all Jews in Hungary as well.
The XXI Century Institute, run by Orban-ally and billionaire Maria Schmidt, promotes Christian nationalism as a core philosophy. She has used the institute as a state sponsored propaganda center, pushing rhetoric on migrants taking "what we Europeans have created over centuries"
Ordo Luris is an extreme anti-choice group in Poland that supports Catholic fundamentalism. They almost succeeded in a total abortion ban in Poland but rolled back women's rights in return, calling "punishment for women who seek abortion the global standard"

1/2
Ordo Luris has partnered with the US Christian Legal Army to roll back reproductive rights around the globe, with success in Hungary, Poland and Africa.

They have also pushed for "LGBTQ-free zones" by banning gay marriage/sex ed. They're also seeking to completely ban divorce.
The European Center for Law and Justice is a Christian legal advocacy organization with ties to Ordo Luris and CFR, operating as the EU arm of Pat Robertson's American Center for Law and Justice. They have helped implement abortion and gay marriage bans in Europe and Africa.
And this is what @TuckerCarlson had to say about appearing with these people. "A model country to follow"

And now here's a breakdown of the political parties and leaders represented at this year's #CPACHungary.

All of them are far-right Christian nationalists with ties to youth paramilitary organizations, Neo-Nazi groups and have espoused "white European great replacement" theory.
Jordan Bardella of National Rally is the right hand man of Marine Le Pen. He was previously involved with Generation Identitaire, a group banned in FR for neo-Nazi activity and hate crimes. They claim to fight against "white European great replacement" and support remigration.
Tom Van Grieken, the current head of the Vlaams Belang Party in Belgium, has stated that "White should be a dominant factor in our society" and that Flanders should be white and Christian. His party has been tied to neo-Nazi discords/symbolism and summer youth paramilitary camps.
