Where do I even start?? Yesterday a flat of single young female in my block was broken into, door kicked down. Thankfully she wasn’t home. Our security was grossly compromised during Waking Watch last year & we are still suffering the consequences

Do you have any idea @michaelgove @team_greenhalgh @RishiSunak what we go through? I live alone, I have experienced menacing & threatening behaviour, I now carry a personal alarm WHERE I LIVE. And what are you doing about this?? Fuck all. How dare you?

I still spend days a week dealing with ID theft & fraud from when our mail was stolen when Waking Watch were swanning about our buildings with abandon
@LondonFire will it take GBH or rape B4 you wake up & realise enforcing unchecked randoms on innocent leaseholders is dangerous?

@ballymore are now 3 years in accounts deficit. It was 4 so what, they get a badge? Only the accounts are such a fecking mess, had to bring in @PwC to audit, @ballymore have chosen to hide that report and share their ‘interpretation’

Leaseholders have no recourse

Also, they managed to overspend by 20% in a furlough year - and our biggest expense in service charges is salaries - so that makes no sense. But we can’t see accounts and they are not legally obliged to divulge so #leaseholders just pay and get fucked over

So when @ballymore purchased this land, between them @TowerHamletsNow & @EnvAgency managed to not do their jobs, and now we as leaseholders are on the hook for a £700k bill for river wall repair that is a public path, not ours

Also, @TowerHamletsNow approved a new @thamesclippers jetty which opens up the path and allows randoms access directly to our homes, but will not give us the S106 money that was paid for precisely this kind of need

Also…

We pay for 6 x security staff. Turns out 2/3s have other jobs. So paying double and compromising on security when we have had break-ins, assaults, drug crime …

But we can’t see accounts so who cares if we’re double charged and we can’t be safe in our own homes

Incidentally, my flat is in a building of 559 flats alone, and there are at least 5 other major high rises on development, we are talking thousands of people, before you get all shitty about paying for security

So we have single women terrified to be in their homes. We have babies & toddlers who need daylight for development of brain trapped behind plastic sheeting indefinitely. We have fire safety systems that failed & will be charged to replace but have no rights to see if maintained

@ballymore will charge us 20% extra for overspend in a furlough year but not show us why

The government @michaelgove @team_greenhalgh @RishiSunak lied to us and promised #leaseholdreform and the renegaded in Queen’s Speech - why? Because they make too much money - looking at you Tories, Royalty, Church of England

This is institutionalised systemic and wilful abuse.
