#RIPRay. This is my @rayliotta (aka "Mr Liotta") story...It was 2005 and my parents & 4 younger siblings were visiting me on the West Coast (Pacific Palisades, because I was fancy). My siblings, ranging in age from 22 to 14 were restless and hungry so my Mom drove us /1
to the closest place we could find...a Quiznos. It was a Monday, so the place was dead, except for someone in line behind us. We ordered and went to pay, but my Mom only had large bills which the cashier could not break, so we were taking a longggg time at the register. /2
In line behind us was...Mr. Ray Liotta. Palisades is a place where people like him are just around, at a Quiznos, on a Monday. We're taking wayyyy too long and Mr. Liotta & his bodyguard/very large friend are growing visibly impatient. /3
To this day I'm not sure if Mr. Liotta saw what appeared to be an overwhelmed hayseed of a single mom (not single, dad just not there) with 5 kids and assumed the hold up was she was too poor to feed us, or if he was just hungry and wanted to order, but either way, /4
after about 10 minutes, Mr. Liotta's bodyguard sauntered over to Mom and said, "Ma'am, Mr. Liotta would like you buy you all lunch," to which my very befuddled and exasperated mother replied "No thank you, we are fine. Everything is fine..."

On the day of his passing, I like to remember how the always intense and brooding Mr. Ray Liotta tried and failed to buy my family Quiznos for lunch. #fuckyoupayme#butnicetho /6
