.#Anek makes you uncomfortable but a truth that absorbs all sides of the story is bound to be uncomfortable. What stuns you is the sheer depth of understanding that writer director @anubhavsinha displays in telling the story of North East people by emitting rare empathy.

And #Anek is not merely the story of North East, it's the story of diverse India which has multiple voices and as Aman says, 'all voices should be heard else none at all'.

Sima Agarwal, Yash Keswani and @anubhavsinha 's screenplay n Sinha's dialogues will echo in your ears

'violence is not the solution', 'Peace kisi ko chahiye hi nahin', 'Hindi decide karti hai..' Dialogues are smeared with blood and they'd haunt u for months. You need to see #Anek multiple times n nuances will simply stun you!

@anubhavsinha has displayed extraordinary courage!

The screenplay is unpredictable and you should not touch your mobile phone even once while watching. #Anek is not your family Sunday outing, it's about the life of a region (and everyone who's faced oppression n misrepresentation). The notable part is that it's not a cop out.

The end isn't simplified.The end doesn't white wash anything. It ends on, 'But..' In other words, #Anek is about intentions of all the players seen on the screen n behind the scenes too.

Local dialect is used with Hindi subtitles, English is used liberally.. Context is supreme!

Casting is brilliant and huge congratulations to @CastingChhabra for casting some superbly talented actors from North East.

The earnestness on their faces is poignant and even when they don't say anything, there's a story of alienation written on their faces.

One can go on n on writing about @ayushmannk but you can still not sum up this giant of an actor n a fantastic human being. The passionate honesty that he displays in #Anek is highly praiseworthy. To flow against the tide requires courage n Ayushman doesn't hold himself back.

While there are many actors who pretend that they can't see anything wrong around them and happily follow the 'trend', @ayushmannk asks questions in #Anek that gain prominence because a notable influencer is raising them.

He's truly a super star of the legendary kinds!

I genuinely believe #Anek shall do India proud on the world stage. If Oscars are the yardstick then this film should be in contention to win the best film award

I genuinely hope the makers take this film to the world. It deserves to be seen n heard. Loud and clear
