Cutting tax on businesses so that they can invest more through our ‘Super Deduction’.
For the next 2 years, when businesses invest, they can reduce their tax bill by 25p for every £1 invested - worth £25 billion.
2) The Employment Allowance cuts employers’ national insurance tax bills by increasing the employment allowance even further to £5,000 – that’s a new £1,000 tax cut for 500k small businesses.
3) largest single-year cut to business rates in 30 years.
The 2022-23 Retail, Hospitality & Leisure Business Rates Relief Scheme for eligible, occupied, retail, hospitality & leisure properties with a 50 % relief, up to a cash cap limit of £110,000 per bus, worth almost £1.7bill
4) Brexit freedoms allow the Financial Services and Markets Bill, which will deliver the post-Brexit financial services regulatory regime to maintain & enhance the UK’s position as a global leader in financial services.
5) Committing the biggest ever budget allocation for R&D to cement the UK’s position as a science superpower and boost high-paid jobs. The £39.8 billion R&D budget for 2022-2025 will help deliver our Innovation Strategy and build on our position as a Science Superpower
6) Launching 2 new Help to Grow schemes to boost the productivity of small businesses.
Help to Grow: Management scheme will help SMEs get world-class management training through govt-funded progs,

Digital scheme will level up the digital skills of small businesses

Shadow Minister Alex Sobel said when he became an MP he did not want to take meetings with businesses because ‘these people are the enemy’ and that ‘as a socialist’ his ‘job is to transform society’ & tear up ‘global corporations which have all this power’.

Labour would have kept us locked up over the summer, holding back small businesses and preventing their economic recovery. Keir Starmer referred to plans to reopen businesses as ‘reckless’, opting for a more cautious plan that would’ve been catastrophic

2/ the media started with something called pre-suasion. Big headlines to get your attention knowing most people work on shortcuts and won’t really listen to all the details. They started with 2 lies. He’d gone to stay with his dad and went to Durham twice. This incensed people...
3/ they then used social proof. Get a few labour activists on websites like mumsnet & then everyone around is thinks it’s true. MSM put petrol on the original lie. The far left see their opportunity and stir it up, knowing by now that it’s not true by hey what the hell.
