I find myself in deep gratitude of the global citizen sleuths in health sciences field, and those who analyze their outputs for further contextualization.

These noble people, driven by common aims of untangling webs of lies, in both science and its applications. They strive to make visible the intentionally hidden; where "father know best" and "trust the science" are dissuasive screens masking humanity's darker tendencies.

Many of them take the approach of differential diagnosis, eliminating competing factors and obscuring confounders. They start at the wide and fuzzy end of the clarity funnel in the hopes of streaming through the other end…

… concise and accurate information to the world that we may hope to survive in health, and hold the perpetrators of this living nightmare to account that we never recreate the world in their image evermore.

They share their insights in real time and we are privileged to follow them down myriad rabbit holes and return clutching acorns of truth.

Sometimes, they hit dead ends, and, instead of being demoralized as some of us might be in the desperate pursuit of answers, emboldened by collapsing probability waves they dust off and pivot along another line of inquiry.

As we find across the diverse scientific domains, these folks don't always agree. After all, science is not a monolith (a fact many #SciComms folk appear to willfully ignore). But such occasions are not punctuated by disagreements and infighting.

Rather, their responses generally reflect a mutual respect rarely seen in other domains (citizen journalists please take note).
NB: For those under 50, this is a hallmark of professionalism.

This is not to say that it is not personal. There are few unaffected by the virus, the disease it causes, the Vx and its effects, and the disastrous set of global health policies disingenuously implemented in the name of science.

Being human should be enough to make this personal for each and every one of us. 💔

These are the benevolent torchbearers of the 21st century, illuminating our pathways through, for us laypeople, the extraordinarily complex world of disease, genetics and bio-engineering, in a world marked by zealotry, egoism, corruption and malfeasance.

Though they have covered so much in such a short time, their work is far from over. In some ways, they've only just begun.

I wish I were more astute, more intelligent, more energetic; more anything, that I could contribute in some meaningful way. But, alas, this dreadful disease has robbed me of much of my cognition and energy. And the Vx continues to scavenge what remains.

But neither the disease nor the Vx, nor authoritarian dictates and their pundits have touched my eternal spirit or my awareness that we all, from greatest human to the least of bacteria are interconnected in a web of creation where the parts + their sum are equally sacred.

So, it is in and through this vein that my gratitude finds expression: from the bottom of my still-beating 💓 and the depth of my soul, I wish to thank these people, those who support their work, and those who share it widely.
