If I run Peter Obi campaign, this is how I’m going to harness D power of basic tech & build a political structure for PO with an army of youth volunteers.
1. I will build a database to collect data on volunteers network of PO supporters across the country.
2. I will collect information about the role each member of the support network wants to play & the resources they wish to donate. It is very important to identify the active support members & others that are just okay with going to polling station to only cast their votes.
3. I will collect and aggregate data on location of active members and their resources. Available weekly time resources is important to be able to estimate the amount of hrs of door to door campaign required to cover the whole country.
4. For volunteers that can donate money instead of time, I will collect data on amount of money they are willing to donate monthly. Collecting reoccurring donations provides the impression that the campaign task is on going event, not just a one-off activity.
5. Using the location data of active support members, I will generate small team groups consisting of 5-10 members across every ward, local govt & states in 🇳🇬. Resources will be centrally disbursed to the teams & each team will have a specific weekly tasks they need to complete.
6. Resources that will be shared to the teams may include printed templates of PO messages. A sample task could be to distribute these media contents across every rooms and apartments in areas teams are assigned. Also Mobilizing people for voters registration and PVC collection.
