At the Double or Nothing media scrum, somebody asked CM Punk and Tony Khan about Eric Bischoff's comment about him being a big financial flop. Needless to say, Tony got a little fired up... #AEWDoN
Meltzer just asked Punk if he felt more pressure following so many great matches. Yes, I'm sure a guy who has faced Brock at SummerSlam, and Undertaker at WrestleMania was really nervous following a mid-card, 3-way tag team match.
Tony said Stokely Hathaway's 90-days with WWE expired yesterday and before today, he'd never talked to him. Jade said she knew nothing about him joining her before today either.
Finally a hard-hitting question. Jade Cargill is asked about inheriting the "Cody-vator" and asks what she will call it. Tony laughs that it costs him more money and thought he was gonna save money once Cody left. Jade says it will be called the "money-lift."
Jericho is up. Spots Dave & says first time they've seen each other since Tokyo Dome 2020 (just before pandemic). Dave asks what it was like putting together a 10-person brawl cause, "that match was insane," and that you'd almost have to watch it 4 times to catch everything.
Dave's follow-up question asks if "Anarchy in the Arena" can be a new signature match of AEW.
Someone asks Jericho about his diet/body transformation lately. Jericho alludes to some kind of previous health problem, that he doesn't elaborate on. Says once he lost 10lbs, the diet just became a way of life and tied in with the new Jericho faction/reinvention.
Somebody FINALLY asked about MJF. Tony said he's not gonna comment on it... and we move on. Tony is then asked about the length of the show, and he busts out some stats and time zone comparisons.
