It's international Amiga day. Can I interest anyone on a huge thread of forgotten Amiga games that I consider quite good? #InternationalAmigaDay
Alien Fish Finger. Tiny, tiny looking PD platformer from 95. Plays good, hilarious deaths, fast and enjoyable. Often found on disk in a playground for 50p. Absolutely insane music, somehow.
HOI, 1992. Bouncy green dinosaur thing, fumbling around in odd levels that make no sense. Most people may have played the demo, but the actual game is worth a look. It's so bright, it hurts the eyes. One particular level should be illegal. Short fun.
Wonderboy In Monster Land, 1989. In some ways, the best version of the game. Yes, I said that. It's like a mini platformer / RPG. David Whittaker on the soundtrack. Warning, however, original hardware players will find it takes ten years to load. I loved it.
Benefactor, 1994. Psygnosis tried everything on the Amiga and this one comes out almost on top. Puzzles galore and tiny, crisp sprites. Sounds good too. Only Amiga fans know this one, it seems.
Robocop 3, 1992. I'm sometimes a bit dumbfounded at the lack of interest in this game. It takes licenced games to a whole new level. The hardest game to 'copy' apprently, came with a security dongle that was almost unusable. Just look at it. Yes, it's massively playable.
Extreme Violence, 1992? One of the first games I wrote about over at @RetroCollect - it's a 2P/SS maniac fest that caused friendships to crumble. Si Green is it's creator. You had to send five piunds to his house and he sent you a copy, eventually. True public domain, glorious.
Donkey Kong, 1992. PD game by Bitboy. Highly ileagal at the time and highly playable. Mario jumps better than Mario usually does. I'm 100% sure I'm the only surviving owner of this game.
Alien Breed 92'

There's not much to say on this, apart from the fact that if you haven't played it, then play it. You think Dead Space will make you jump? Play this at 2am off your head after an Irn-Bru & Rainbow Drops party and you'll forget sleep even existed.
Deluxe Galaga, 1994 AGA. An absolute must for Galaga fans. A PD game made by  Edgar M. Vigdal who sadly died in 2015, it's absolutely incredible and hardly spoken about.
Hunter, 1991. Probably one of the most influential games ever made. Sandbox open world before open world games even existed. Land, sea, air, guns, medicine, clues, buildings. It's all here. Absolutely incredible for 1991. Amazing.
Hemidall, 1991. An odd one, but still fun. It's like an ARPG, adventure isometric game. The inventory menu is a pain, combat can be slow but it's worth a go. Anyone play this?
Speris Legacy, 1996. A bit late on the JRPG clone scene, but it's actually good, kinda. You have to play it to appriciate what was attempted here. @pablo_0151
Fightin Spirit, 1996. The best fighter on Amiga and something of an unknown game. It's bloddy brilliant. Heavily endorsed by @pablo_0151 who is right in saying it belongs in the Neo Geo family.
Ok, ok. More Amiga stuff.

Battle Squadron, 1989. A game that's so impressive, it's hard to believe nobody outside the Amiga bunch have played it (Electric Zoo made some BAD games)

The Mega Drive version doesn't count. Amazing music, loud noises and it's 2P.
Cruise For A Corpse, 1991. Delphine made some of the greatest games ever designed, but this one really does blow the lid off the biscuit tin. Amazing P&C 'Agatha' murder mystery, on a yacht. The SFX are amazing, the story is brilliant. It's a must.
Space Harrier - Return To Fantasy The Zone, 1989

A Space Harrier game that went under the Radar. What makes this fun is that Elite actually bothered to make it playable and good looking. Also, it has mouse control and while that sounds daft, it's a game changer. Get Ready.
Sensible Golf, 1995 - The best golf game on Amiga and that's by a long shot. Ha. Received terribly because it was 1995 and golf games were now full 'Mortal Kombat' looking simulators. It's Sensible Soccer, but golf and nobody has ever heard of it. Only Amiga magazines liked it.
Sleepwalker, 1993 - Okay, I liked this one. But never has a game been so hyped (See Violet Berlin on Bad Influence iirc) fallen so hard. It was meant to be 'amazing' except it was just another Amiga game. Great idea, bad execution.
X copy. Yeah, had to get it in. Best game ever made.
Dyna Blaster (Couldn't call it Bomber Man in 1990)

All Amiga owners should kniw about this, because before Super Bomberman came out on the SNES, this was the go to game, the FIVE, yes FIVE player madness (if you could afford that) was bonkers. What. A. Game.
Switchblade II, 1991 (iirc).
Gremlin made thier best games on Amiga / Mega Drive, but sometimes just leaving computer games on 'computers' was enough. This sequel is a great example of what Gremlin could do without cars and footy management sims. It's good.
