Have you ever wondered what China’s government and military want the future to look like? Want to know what Beijing’s intentions, plans, and operations mean for America? If so, check out this new book: amazon.com/Final-Struggle…
Every book requires a massive team effort. The author, at best, adds only a layer of knowledge on top of a foundation built by others.
Today, I’d like to thank and acknowledge those who made this new book possible — and those who made it better than I ever dreamed it could be.
This was only possible because of my fantastic mentors, colleagues, and friends @Project2049. A huge THANK YOU to #RandySchriver #RichardArmitage #JohnGastright @Stokes2049 @jenkhong @colby_ferland @Eric_K_Lee
#GraceYoung and @LouisMVezian @CIGeography each produced amazing drawings, maps, and graphics that made the stories in this book come to life. Their artistic talent and research skills blew me away. Here’s a few examples of their work:
Other friends and former colleagues @Project2049 helped collect data, fact check and edit. They include @emily_a_david @surya_n1 @ShermanTylawsky @JosephWRoss_ @BaughmanMM
Many leading experts in the field provided much-needed advise, tutorials, sounding boards, and generous assistance including: @DAlexBlumenthal @AaronFriedberg @anderscorr @PointeBello @emily_sw1 @ceci_joy @jamesproud @milesyu10 @DC_MilesYu @ChasMorrison @RepGallagher @mikepompeo
I’m deeply grateful to #JacquelineNewmyerDeal @AlvaradoGA2 @ToshiYoshihara #MattPottinger #DanTobin @PLMattis who all reviewed, corrected, and commented on various drafts, making for a greatly improved final cut.
This is my second book with @camphorpress. They are a brilliant team and an absolute pleasure to work with. A special thanks to @formosaphile, #JohnGrantRoss, #MarkSwofford. To learn more about their work, check them out here: camphorpress.com/about-us/
And @Rosemary100 @jmulvenon @jwuthnow @HardcoreHistory @ElbridgeColby @niubi @McReynoldsJoe @BillGertz @ZackCooper @sapinker @pinker @peterwsinger Many others can be found in the bibliography & endnotes. Reading & learning from them was one of my favorite parts of this project.
If you like this book, the credit belongs to those listed above. If you disagreed and/or found mistakes, I’m responsible, not only for the translations and analysis presented, but also for the style in which they were delivered. Please let me know & I will do better next time.
