Ahead of Season 1 this June, we’d like to start with a few updates we’re making available to you this week
Thread with details on those changes below 🧵
We appreciate your feedback and the data you're helping to generate with our recent Progression Test in #BattlefieldPortal
We’d like to give you more time to play around with these changes, so we’ll extend the test until later this June
We’ll let you know when we’re done collecting data, but for now, continue hosting servers without AI or custom scripting and continue to enjoy Full Progression❤️
Today we also published an update on the Economy and Player Progression for Battlefield 2042
We invite you to read through our design philosophy so you understand how this system will work in-game:
We have updated Ticket values for Attackers in Breakthrough as part of a backend update this morning #Battlefield2042
Here's a quick thread with some insight on the changes
🧵👀
We have been monitoring match outcomes and observed that the attacking team often started with the maximum number of reinforcements in the final sector, which is neither balanced, nail-biting, nor fair for the opposing team.
The purpose of this change is to help even out the odds and create a more exciting experience throughout the match, especially in the final sectors.
The attacking team will now start with a slightly adjusted ticket counts, but always receive less tickets per sector gained.
Let's talk about the next set of updates coming to #Battlefield2042 and what to expect in the coming weeks
Here's a thread with news on upcoming patches, Portal XP Changes, and updates on requested features like Scoreboard & Cross Platform VOIP 🧵👀
Update 3.2

Update 3.3
Our next update after 3.2 arrives in mid to late February, and features a refreshed Scoreboard, alongside further changes that have been in the works since we returned after the Holidays
We are investigating an issue that is preventing players on Xbox from starting their EA Play Trial #Battlefield2042
⚠ Players are wrongly being presented with an error message suggesting that their Trial has concluded
Sit tight, we're on it.
Update: We have identified what is causing the issue and are actively developing the fix so that we can ensure Xbox players can start their EA Play Trial #Battlefield2042
More updates will follow.
We've just deployed a change that should start to let players on Xbox begin their EA Play Trial #Battlefield2042
🔄 Close the game, and relaunch. The error should disappear this time
We'll follow up with confirmation when we're seeing healthy behaviour on our side 👍
