Your Twitter could be worth more than a $100,000 college degree.

But 99.9% of accounts worth $0

Here are 6 ways to turn Twitter into a money printer:

Thread 🧵
Most accounts use Twitter to follow the news.

But those accounts are worthless.

To make it an asset, you need to build a high-signal info diet.

Let me show you...
1) Use Twitter Lists

The timeline is full of drama.

Lists cut the noise & amplify the signal.

They aren't affected by the algorithm.

So you'll see what you want to see. Not what the algorithm wants to show you.
2) Use Adv Search

#explore search sucks.

Use advanced search functions to find the best content (play around with the parameters):

(from:thedankoe) min_faves:500 until:2022-09-01 since:2020-05-01

This will display tweets from @thedankoe with > 500 likes between X & Y date.
@thedankoe 3) Mute Trolls

Trolls are not worth your time.

If you don't like someone's attitude, mute them:

Go to their profile.

Click "more" → "mute profile".

Their content will be hidden going forward.

Peace!
@thedankoe 4) Optimise your bio

Your bio is your online ID.

Decide what you want to be known for & tell everyone about it.

I use Twitter to grow my network/biz

My bio is optimised to help me attract the right people for both of those.

Here are some great examples:
@thedankoe These 5 profiles quickly explain "what's in it for you" in less than 2 seconds.

@StevenTrister
@OneJKMolina
@SeanAnthonySays
@DONVESH
@waronweakness

Take notes....
@thedankoe @StevenTrister @OneJKMolina @SeanAnthonySays @DONVESH @waronweakness 5) Write Threads

There’s so much noise on Twitter.

Instead, you can deconstruct complex topics into simple actionable tips for others.

You’ll end up building a community of curious folks here to learn! = Valuable asset.
@thedankoe @StevenTrister @OneJKMolina @SeanAnthonySays @DONVESH @waronweakness 6) Use Tweetdeck

Tweetdeck will make your Twitter experience 10x better.

It'll help you take control over your info diet.
@thedankoe @StevenTrister @OneJKMolina @SeanAnthonySays @DONVESH @waronweakness That's a wrap!

The bad news:

Cold outreach is oversaturated.

The good news:

You can post organic Linkedin content that books 30 calls per month without sending a single cold outreach message.

Here are 7 ways to make it happen…
#1 - Use the power of video.

Make a brief, interesting video that displays your skills and experience.

Videos get up to 5 times the engagement of text and are more likely to be shared.

Video helps you connect with your ideal audience in a personal way and build trust.
#2 - Optimise your profile.

Update your LinkedIn profile with relevant keywords in your:

- Headline,
- About me, and
- Experience

To display your work, use:

- Videos
- Infographics, and
- Presentations

To make the profile pop.

I’m turning 31 next month.

7 anti-procrastination hacks that I wish I knew at 21:
#1 - Prioritise your tasks.

Focus on what's truly important and avoid wasting time on unimportant tasks.

Make a list of your tasks and order them based on their importance.

You'll increase your productivity and reduce stress.
#2 - Use the Pomodoro Technique.

This helps you break down your work into manageable chunks and avoid burnout.

Just set a timer for 25 minutes and work on one task during that time.

Remember: take a 5-minute break after each Pomodoro to keep energy level at maximum capacity.
