Re-watched 'Everything Everywhere All at once (EEAO) ' incase I missed something but I couldn't find any or maybe I'm still basking in the Euphoria of how good it is. I'll try again in 2 months or three.
The pacing, the musical scores, casting & fight scenes (I call it Funfu) are well thought out & choreographed.
Takes me back to Michelle Yeoh's (main character) 90s Karate movies era - oooh, the good old days.
And the amazing thing is that, Michelle is a dancer with no formal martial arts training.
When she has fight scenes, she relies on her dancing chops & on set trainers. But she obviously picked up a few Funfu moves along the way.
Don't even get me started on the rules of verse-jumping, it's so silly that it makes sense.
And who else noticed it's similarity to 'sharing' In #Sense8 ? Difference is; instead of taking over the mind of anyone in an 8 person cluster, EEAO is 1 person across the multiverse.
I enjoyed every bit of the movie!
- A must watch for fans of the multiverse, sci-fi, fast paced action, comedy & wild trip (second kind of trip)
Just caught up with Superman & Lois- they are shaking things up, not using their usual series formula & Jordan is still a fool.
His ex is distraught about her mother's disappearance & he knows what really happened but can't tell her yet he chose that moment to redeclare his ♥️
Also,
- Jordan's fighting skills improved in previous episodes, thought we'd see more of that when he fought (no spoilers 🌚), or the fight could have just been choreographed better
- Be sure to watch a clear version of the new episodes, the show already has a sepia ish tint
- What's up with their multiverse, moving through universes wasn't this volatile in Batgirl, Flash & Supergirl. Unless the rules changed post crisis.
- Can't say more without spoiling anything, but there is a lot of unanswered que's about Bizzaro world & its characters.
