Govt job competitive exams are a buffer created by the govt to manage unemployment. The youth keep fighting for the posts and stay away from the economy for 4-5 years. While some get the jobs, most of them don't. In the end, they end up believing that "they were incompetent" 1/n
While the incompetency aspect is subjective, the current economy does not provide enough opportunities to serve the wide spectrum of skills of the youth.

For example, a plumber in the USA makes $51K - $83K per year, which is comfortable for him to live a decent life. 2/n
The same is not true in India, and that's why when a rickshaw driver's son cracks an exam, the media glorifies it. Such news again instills the feeling "If he can do it, so can I," which is indeed good. However, the fact remains that the number of seats stays the same 3/n

UPSC twitter accounts especially the individual ones:

1. Posting mnemonics tricks will give you engagement and followers but don't overdo it.

2. Do not end up being a "Notes account" grow slow but offer smthing unique especially if u are interested in building individual brnd
3. Know why people are following you, if it's just cz of your Menomonics and "notes" then probably you will end up being same as "those" insta accounts.

4. Every new wannabe UPSC "influencer" is following the same playbook, don't end up being one among many.
5. Each one of you started with something unique but got into the race of followers and cheap engagement, grow slow but grow solid.

6. Twitter is fun but you won't enjoy it after a time if you are not having fun creating the content if you just copy paste stuff.

1. There are multiple paths that lead to the same destination. You just need to keep going on yours.
2. Sometimes you might face unexpected hurdles(Traffic jams) but you shouldn't give up cz those jams will just delay your journey but eventually you will reach your destination.
