Shakti Peethas, meaning “place of power”, are most important & powerful temples dedicated to Durga Devi, These are places of worship dedicated to Shakti. There are 51 Shakti Peethas in total in which 18 are very important referred by Adi Shankaracharya as Ashtadasa Shakti Peetha.
When Daksha conducted a yajna he didn't invite Shiva, but Sati Devi wished to attend her father's yajna. At Yajna Daksha insulted Shiva which Sati Devi couldn't tolerate & she scarified herself in the yagna. Knowing this Shiva came & took Sati devi's body & started Rudra Tandava.

did Pushpabhishek daily, for that he decided to grow a flower garden
Together with his wife, Ananthalwar began digging well to water to his flower garden. Venkateshwara decided to help them & appeared as a small boy. Ananthalwar got angry & threw his crowbar at the kid which hit child's chin. After finishing the garden work, he went to the temple.

WHY IS GANESHA FOND OF MODAK
Once Mahadev visited Atri Muni & Anasuya Devi's ashram with Parvati Devi & Ganesha. Shiva asked Anasuya Devi to serve him food feeling hungry. However Anasuya informed that, only after satisfying Ganesha's hunger Shiva will be served food.
Shri Ganesh was served food & he ate everything, but was not feeling his stomach full. Anusuya Devi then served him a little piece of sweet, Ganesha ate it & let a loud burp indicating his stomach is full. Parvati Devi was surprised and asked Anasuya Devi details of the sweet
