This job fair aims to provide not just employment but also freedom and career empowerment.
Philip Gioca from JobStreet joins @RicoHizon on #TheFinalWord to talk about its upcoming event next week | LIVE bit.ly/3H5uKcV
Gioca says JobStreet PH and DTI will hold a virtual career fair from June 13-17: We have a team where they will help them create professional CVs and train how to answer interviews. We are offering jobs across the archipelago.
JobStreet PH country manager Gioca says ePLDT, SM, Accenture, IBM, and Amazon are some of the companies that will participate in the virtual career fair: Partnering with DTI helped us linked up with new start-up enterprises in other parts of the country.
Gioca: The candidates are not looking for the salary. They asked themselves if this (job) is worth it. This is happening under the "great reshuffle" labor phenomenon. SMEs are preferred as long as the value of the person fits the value of the company.
Gioca: More than 100 companies in our virtual career fair are looking for entry-level applicants. Majority of the job offers are full-time. There are opportunities for those who want to have two to three jobs and earn on a per-hour basis.
