so yesterday @ParisMatch reported that Vladimir Putin travels abroad with a special 💩 suitcase. according to the journalists, Putin's guards collect his stools in bags and deliver them to Moscow. but as far as I know this peculiar system is arranged somewhat differently /1
2/ at least sometimes all secret substances are being destroyed immediately on the spot. and it was first reported to the world by a rather unexpected source - by
@VeepHBO Julia Louis-Dreyfus on The Late Show in 2020
3/ while she visited the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna the museum staff told Louis-Dreyfus that prior to her visit Russian President Putin had come there with his own private bathroom
4/ the museum staff revealed they had to set up a special private bathroom outside the museum for Putin to use when he needed to. they also told her that Putin uses the same "porta-potty" as Louis-Dreyfus called it while traveling and on board his plane
5/ my source who is an old acquaintance of Putin's told me that the practice of taking his toilet to foreign trips has been around for years, and the Russian leader has been doing this since the beginning of his rule
6/ while traveling around Russia, Putin's guards have the option of clearing used facilities if needed; it is not convenient to do so abroad
7/ the source also revealed that if at any event Putin, say, drinks from a cup other than his (although at least in recent years Putin has mostly been drinking only from his famous thermos mug), his guards make sure no one takes that cup away english.alarabiya.net/variety/2019/0…
8/ "Then it is either thoroughly wiped down and all traces are removed, or it is taken away. Fingerprints are also monitored if he has touched anything," the source says. according to him, the president's biomaterials are protected as top-secret information
9/ my source points out that this is common practice for many world leaders because the access to their biomaterials gives a lot of information about their health - and a huge field for manipulation
10/ "You can decipher a person's DNA, find out about predisposition to hereditary diseases - Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, for example - whether they are sick now and what medications they take, not to mention finding distant relatives or illegitimate children," he notes
11/ however considering Putin's incredibly high level of paranoia and all the secrecy around his health throughout the years this kind of news about his routine always seem a revelation. but to those journos and politicians who see new signs of Putin's imminent death every day...
12/ I would advise against engaging in comforting self-delusion. Putin should be fought rather than waiting for an easy resolution of all problems due to his miraculous passing.

I had the honour of writing an op-ed for the @nytimes. dedicated to the great dissident Valeria Novodvorskaya, who foresaw so much about today. propaganda portrayed her as crazy, but she was right about many things nytimes.com/2022/05/23/opi…
In 1994 in her famous controversial article called "Russia №6" she wrote that since the 16th century we have existed according to the laws of manic-depressive psychosis, which a hundred years later has become a national character
She argued that Russians had formed a habit of “flaying” the weak government and “kissing the whip” of the fierce autocrat. The result was a country “hanging between fascism and communism,” and citizens unable to live like normal people

@Visa @Mastercard sanctioning Putin, his inner circle and Russian officials is a good thing which should have been done much earlier. But suspending all Russia operations now you punish people who fled the country because of the threat of political prosecution by Putin’s regime
I’m talking about numerous independent journalists, members of the opposition, political activists, and common people who dared to oppose the war. We had to leave the country within days. And most of us don’t have foreign bank accounts yet
Many of us lost our jobs. And now our little savings will be frozen on our accounts. Please use suspension selectively. We are Russians, but we don’t support Putin’s war. He didn’t asked us before he started it
