DENR-Manila Bay Coordinating Office Executive Director Jacob Meimban Jr. on the reopening of the Manila Dolomite Beach: ‘Yung scenario na naisip namin ay positive naman na nagawa. Pati yung publiko na pumunta, mga disiplinado naman.

DENR: Talagang isinabay natin sa Indpendence Day (ang reopening ng dolomite beach) para mayroong mapuntahan at mapasyalan ‘yung ating mga kababayan.

DENR says the dolomite beach is open everyday and everyone is welcome to visit from 6 a.m.-6 p.m.

DENR says vaccination cards are not required upon entry but encourages visitors to be fully-vaccinated, wear masks, and follow social distancing protocols.

DENR says swimming is currently not allowed in the dolomite beach: In due time, nakikita natin na talagang swimmable na ito. Tinatapos lang natin yung mga trabaho sa tatlong outputs (Padre Faura, Remedios, Abad).

DENR: Yung maintenance dito (dolomite beach) ay talagang tuloy-tuloy kasi itong lugar na ito ay strict rehabilitation zone batay sa utos ng Korte Suprema.
