Let's say you buy 1 property for 60 lacs and 2nd property for 1.2 crores. If the first one is sold for 1.4 crores and the second one is sold for 1.4 crores. Same sale price but 1st huge profit compared to 2nd.

Specifically in TN some movies are sold for very high prices. Theater owners know it may be extremely difficult to recover, so thry sell it to fan clubs for very high price fan clubs sell to fans for high price.

Fans pay 1000 to 1500 per ticket just to see thier hero. Usually first 2 shows across all theaters do this. With ticket price 5x - 12x the normal price, those 2 shows collect as much as 2 ENTIRE day of shows.

Heroes know this practice and know it will hurt their own fans, but they wouldn't do anything. This is a dangerous loop. Fans help increase BO numbers, Heroes demand more, movie is sold for more and fans pay even more.

Vikram was sold for a very normal price, the price enough for RKFI to recover, RKFI as everyone knows is one of the best production companies in India, they dont waste money and very transparent.
