I have no option but to start criminal proceedings against Vedantu. Any experienced criminal lawyer based in Delhi/NCR who can help on this pro bono?

Vedantu signed an agreement with JustBurstOut for developing content for 6000+ pages- 40 lacs words of content. All the delivered content has been live on their website since January and we are still chasing for our payment.

When we posted about the payment default on social media, they sent us legal notices mentioning breach of contract. We told them to remove our content if they do not want to pay. Shameless founders of this company are neither paying us nor removing our content from their website.

This company has no funds and money. They have just fired 600 employees and have defaulted payment of many other vendors. It’s a huge amount for a small company like us.

From filing complaints to MCA, MSME, Consumer forums to fighting a legal case for copyright infringement, I am doing everything that can be done. Hearing date for the copyright case will take months as 2021 cases are still pending.

We have now decided to start criminal proceedings as it’s outright stealing, bullying and mental harassment by Vedantu. It is illegal to use our content when they have not paid us. Yet they continue to earn revenue from our content live on their website.
