15': while we wait for the ball to not go out of bounds ... there once was a player on my team in Wendover who was a goalkeeper [we were playing against a semipro team from Mexico at the local HS] and a rattlesnake lunged at him while he was standing there in the 6!

Half': I can see why there's a decent crowd on a Wed. night. I'd say that the technical ability of these players is probably a bit higher than MLS, by and large. [At least on the Chivas side of things. Haven't seen enough from the Santos side to say]

Half: My heck! This is the longest halftime break in recorded history!!!

Question: WHERE are all the players wearing Nos. 100 and up? That was the big thing back in the early to mid 2000s; the boys [and girls] all fought for the privilege of wearing three digits on their jersey backs!

Almost forgot; at that game in Wendover I talked about, roughly 15 mins after our GK was scared spitless by a RATTLESNAKE, in the other box our ST was lining up for a PK when ANOTHER SNAKE PEEKED OUT from a hole to the right of the spot. ST rushed the kick & it flew over the bar

Still Half': Did everyone on Chivas and Santos go out to eat or something? ??

Another Wendover tourney story: that tourn we played in, in the 90s with all the teams from Mexico, etc was sponsored by a BEER COMPANY. After seeing those snakes, I'm glad I had plenty of drinks to help me forget that game!! [Which we lost, 4-2]

My Bad': Apparently my connection was down for 22 minutes! So we are in the 64th minute now, and Santos has scored in this all-important friendly. Silly me!

65: Beautiful slotted pass by Santos CM, into the ST who just couldn't get a clean look at goal

I would agree with that statement re more English coverage of Liga MX
