The NCN232 leisure route linking Mitcham Common to Lloyd Park via the Wandle Trail runs nearby.
Croydon is the only London town centre with trams at street level. The tracks have to be navigated with a little care, but people soon get the hang of it.
Just like Amsterdam, in other words, although the only thing you'll find in Croydon's coffee shops is coffee.
Heavy e-bikes and ultra-light roadsters all welcome here.
